Hired amidst financial difficulties, I worked as Bartender and quickly promoted head Bartender, constantly adapting and delivering exceptional service to help navigate the venue through this critical period.

CherryHill Orchards, an 80-year-old cherry-producing company near Melbourne, hosts two highly popular annual festivals, attracting 500 to 2,500 guests daily. During the cherry-picking festival, I managed the on-site café, bar, and retail store, leading a team of 15 staff members.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Opening and closing the café and retail service points.
  • Cash management and reconciliation.
  • Conduct team briefings, allocate staff duties, and coordinate breaks.
  • Maintain an exceptionally high standard of customer service.

Divers Tavern, a lively and fast-paced sports bar in remote Australia, operates from morning until late and thrives during its bustling events. Known for its vibrant atmosphere, it’s never empty. I worked two seasons here as a versatile staff member, seamlessly handling both bar and floor duties during the same shifts to meet the venue’s dynamic demands.
